Denial... Living Strong!

Dear Friend (you know who you are):

Denial is a blinder. Yes, A blinder ~ singular. It makes you feel like you're seeing it all, yet in actuality, you're only seeing a tiny piece through the cracks in your fingers. Take both hands away from your face, open your eyes, and see what you're missing...

Because you're missing a lot!!

Sincerely,

Me

Very short and to the point. I like it and it's very true.

I’m to scared taking away my hands. Actually I’m typing this with my nose. Wonder how I can see the keyboard? I can’t. I memorized the keys.

Yep. And this can apply to pretty much anything or any aspect of our lives. Sometimes, the hands are there on purpose.

So true.

Sometimes it's hard to tell if what you're seeing is reality or if you're just refusing to see what's there.

Denial is a funny thing because, as spldbch said, sometime we don't know if we're truly in denial.

If we get rid of our "walls" (defensive, usually)... denial will be plain as day.
