"Comfort is the enemy of achievement" is all around us. It's so easy to stay in our comfort zones... where we're most comfy. The more comfortable we are, the less we'll push, resulting in less achievement.
The pain of the short term can be extremely difficult... but it's SUPPOSED to be tough. If it was easy, there wouldn't be any separation-- we'd all be "great."
Agreed.
ReplyDeleteYesterday I taped up a scrap of paper by my computer that said:
"Comfort is the enemy of achievement."
Sounds similar.

This very true and sometimes I find it funny how we don't want to suffer the very short-term pain in order to acheive long-term success!

So true. Once I was able to get over my fear of the short term pains required to reach my goals I was able to get where I wanted to be.
